In the 19th century, when the Marquis of Baroncelli « reinvented » the Camargue culture and traditions, tourism started to develop. Today Frédéric Bon and his “gardians” (cowherds), fervent caretakers of their Camargue identity, are still just as enthusiastic and happy to share their daily life on the farm.
